Ok, time’s just about up for world championship season 2014, as the final bouts for the three crowns loom for 1-2 November.
Sadly, the swell just didn’t cooperate for the Open and Junior comps in October.
But no point in screaming over spilt milk…the showdowns in November will seal the fate of who the new Club champions will be in Open, Juniors and SuperGroms.
The points tallies are tantalisingly close…no names, no packdrill…it’s simply do or die time for a heap of contenders.
Let’s just concentrate on talking up the swell for 1-2 November, and if that level of voodooism doesn’t work we still have 15-16 November.
The other important dates to put in the diary are:
- Club Presentation Night, South Cronulla Bowling Club, Saturday 29 November, from 6pm
- Ron Inman Memorial Teams Showdown – 6-7 December
