After three events this season, it’s now time to introduce BEST THREE rides to decide heat placings.
The Club Committee at the January AGM agreed that it would be good to shift from Best two to Best three to put extra emphasis on consistency.
But just to get the championship season off to a smooth start, the Best two has been used to now.
So from the June contest on, it will be still six waves maximum per surfer per heat, with their three highest scoring rides (including the Double Whammy choice) to determine placings.
No pressure man, woman and child!
