Shoes Has A New Patron Sponsor

Shoes’ member and Eastern Suburbs dentist, Dr John Murray, has donated $1,000 to the club to help it with infrastructure improvements.

The wonderful overture, with no strings attached, will improve the club’s financial position in 2010 and allow for several equipment upgrades.

One important initiative that will flow from the new funding is the proposed purchase of new sets of contest rash shirts.

Paul Earle is working on that project during January.

At the AGM on Saturday 23 January at South Cronulla Bowling Club (start time 4pm) two new motions to be discussed and voted on are:

1. Confirmation of title of Patron Sponsor 2010 for John Murray
2. Confirmation of purchase of new equipment from new funding

I’m sure all members will join me in expressing sincere thanks to Dr John for his generous support.

I’m led to believe from very reliable sources that John is an excellent dentist, so for teeth problems, he’s the man to see!
