Shoes will be fielding a very strong squad for this weekend’s King of Beach event in the Ally.
We’re one of six competing clubs, with the title, cash and gear up for grabs.
The competition is broken into two groupings – A and B – with points accruing to determine which four clubs go through to a tag team finals format to determine the 2010 crown.
Here’s our line-up:

3x Opens– Jarrod Horner, Jack Irvin, Peter Hvass

GROUP B
1x Woman– Mel Withers
1x under 14– Harrison Martin
1x under 16– Jesse Horner
1x 35 over– Matty Bradley (TBC) Chris Durante if not
1x 40 over– David Halyard
1x 45 over– John Tucker
Carve expression session surfer– Jesse Horner
Power surfer– Jesse Horner
Judging – Mel Hatheier, John Hvass and Sid Cassidy
Team Captain – Matt Mulder
The contest gets underway at 7.30am on Saturday and, waves willing, is scheduled to wrap-up around 12 noon.
