After a great blast off in February for the new competition season, it’s time to wax up for Round Two.
The two key dates for March are 14-15 and 21-22.
As anyone who was there for Round One will tell you, the buzz for a sensational set of wave-slashing was on for young and all.
Not only was the vibe sensational, but the level of surfing prowess on display blew minds all over the Reef that Rules.
It was like watching a WSL super comp, but with more noise, more powerhouse, more electricity, more go-go spirit.
The Judges really enjoyed Round One, given the flourish, powerhouse and the take no prisoners mindset.
You would be mad not to be there for what will be a Killer Clowns From Outer Space showdown of Shoes members going off from 6.30 am!!
And who wouldn’t want to be competing, with the aroma of beautifully cooked sausages spreading out from the Pavilion Barbecue hour after hour, and not to mention the look and feel of the new contest Rashies!
That aroma pays homage to our beloved butcher of many decades – the late and great Leo Payne.
Members please ensure you get to Shoes as early as possible and allow for the competition managing crew, led by Guy, Matty and Aaron get the show on the road.
