The swell has been pumping of late, so here’s hoping it turns up this weekend for the June world title showdown.
June 1-2 marks the start of the winter spectrum of the 2013 comp season, with members in all three categories breaking out the steamers to cause major damage to whatever the Reef serves up.
The Groms have four events under their wing; the Juniors three and the Open one, so it’s time to get serious about the battle royale for Shoes Supremacy.
Spread the word. Shoes is Hollywood this weekend…where all the stars come out to play…bigger than the Great Gatsby…more powerful than Superman…funnier than the Three Stooges.
Be there for the Academy Awards of Performance Surfing.
If 1-2 don’t play the game, then it will be on to 15-16 June for the Greatest Surf Show on the Planet.
