Champions Crowned at Night of Nights

The World Champions of Surfing were crowned at the Sandshoes Boardriders Club Gala Night.

Hundreds of members, family, friends and sponsors were in attendance at that emporium of good times – the South Cronulla Bowling Club – to celebrate another season of brilliant wave-riding that ASP riders can only fantasize about.

It was the climax of another great year on the Reef that saw surfing shift to amazing heights, membership numbers double, the emergence of a flood of new talent and Sandshoes BRC mark its 41st anniversary.

The Club’s magnificent ensemble of Sponsors were honoured: Dr John Murray Dental Service, Only Organic Foods, Lipman Construction, Tengirri Surf Charters, WJ Partners, Puresea Surf Shop, STC, Cronulla Travel, PCC Surboards, Cronulla Surf Design, Hot Yogi, Leo Payne the Sausage King.
