Jarvis leads groms on merry ride

Jarvis Earle has strengthened his SuperGroms  championship lead with a gung ho performance in the June world title contest.

Good, clean waves greeted the Groms superstars as they hit the Reef like bats out of a belfry – charging at every swell that loomed.

Barrells, head dips, slashing cutbacks, floaters and gouging bottom turns were all on display as the contest heated up.

Jarvis, riding the PCC shooter  that he won for most inspired young surfer during season 2013, was pushed all the way in the final, getting home on his last ride to outpoint Riley Lee, Charlie Chedwiggin and Luca Durante.

Throughout the heats and semi-finals, the blonde bombshell kept getting better – but also on fire were Jetson Kuch, Max Felice Maxime Rayer, Casey Earle, Caitlan Campbell, Jamie Campbell, Kai and Sax Withers, Marley and Fin Moore and Eathan Addison.

The Groms keep getting better, raising the heat for the July showdown scheduled for 5-6.
