Pocket dynamo Jesse Horner cleaned-up the opposition to take out the 2009 Fantastic Noodles Sutherland Shire Regional Junior Titles, held in wild storm surf on the beach and at Cronulla Point in April.
Jesse displayed impeccable wave selection in the solid 1.5-2m waves to overcome Chris Robertson (Cronulla), Zac Scott (Cronulla) and Max Rea (Cronulla).
Commented Jesse:
“I’m pretty stoked. The waves were grinding and you had to pick and choose which ones to take-off on. But there was plenty of power, so you could do the big moves.”

The Fantastic Noodles Sutherland Shire Junior Surfing Titles are supported by Fantastic Noodles, Cronulla Surf Design, Surfing Sutherland Shire and Surfing NSW.
Having recently announced the support of junior surfing throughout the state and the nation, the Fantastic Noodles State Junior Surfing Titles covers ten events in South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and Victoria, 14 Regional Junior Surfing Title events in NSW, plus an ASP Pro Junior event in South Australia in July.
