After plenty of to-ing and fro-ing, the date for the 2011 King of the Beach showdown is confirmed for 26 November.

John Hvass has paid the Sandshoes team entry fee, so now is the time to start getting our act together to take on and trounce the five other clubs taking part in the tournament sponsored by Ocean and Earth.

1x under 16s
1 x 18 and under
1 X 28.S AND OVER
1 X 40S AND OVER
1 X 35’S AND OVER
1 x Gir
5 x opens

Group A
5X OPEN, 1 X girl

Group B
1X 14’S, 1 x 28 over , 1 x 18 and under, 1 x 16 and under, 1 X 35 and over and 1 x 40s and over.

Start Times

7AM – Setup

8AM – Group A Surf Tag

9.30 – Group B Surf Tag

11 AM – Carve Expression Session

12PM – KOTB Surf Tag Final

4PM – Presso – El Sol

Format

# Each surfer can catch a maximum of 3 waves.
# highest 2 waves will count.
#1 x power surfer and both wave scores doubled.
#60 minutes per group A an B, with extra points for first team finished
before time.
# Top 4 teams through to the final after group A and B surfed.

CARVE expression Session
for 25 minutes and winner is best innovative maneuver.

JUDGING
ALL clubs to provide 1 x judge with Head judge.
