The three Divisional Champions for season 2014 on the Shoes Reef were crowned on the weekend at the annual gala presentation event that celebrated a wondrous year of dynamic surfing.
Matty Cook pipped Reece Moffat to claim the Open Title, claiming the famous JT leather jacket in a handover from 2013 champion Jarrod Horner.
The Junior Crown was nailed for the second year straight by Dion Earle, just a few points clear of Sam Lee.
And not to outdone in the Earle family, Jarvis Earle cemented the SuperGroms title – his second in a row – from a fast finishing Koby Napper.
Meanwhile, the hotly contested Masters Title was clinched by John Bonello ahead of Greg Ferrow.
The Club’s newest Life Member is John Murray, the Patron of Shoes and a stayer when it comes to sponsorship support.
The Ron Inman Memorial Encouragement Award was presented by Stuart Pasterson of PCC Surfboards to Fin and Marley Moore for their continuous enthusiasm and commitment out on the best reef on the planet.
Meanwhile, the Service to Club trophy was presented to the Withers family of Mel, Jeff, Sax, Kai and Jae for their sustained support of Shoes, both at contests and in general life.
The Club’s tremendous sponsors were heralded during the night for providing financial assistance as well as goods and services of renown: Dr John Murray, Only Organic Foods, PCC Surfboards, Tengirri Surf Charters, Lipman Construction, WJ Partners, Cronulla Travel, Little Parrot Café, Puresea Surf Shop, STC and Cronulla Surf Design.
Surfers making the Top Six in each Division received surf gear and vouchers from STC, Puresea Surf Shop and Cronulla Surf Design.

Leah Maclean was mentioned in despatches for her ongoing commitment to managing the Club website; and Paul Byers was saluted for his continuous filming of every event and production of free CDs.
The Ron Inman Memorial Showdown is scheduled for 5-6 December. Good prizes are up for grabs. $20 entry fee, with all money raised going to the NSW Cancer Council.
