May the waves be with us in June

May was a flop for swell to allow a contest to be had, but June is looking up.

The two dates are back to back weekends – June 9-10 and if required 16-17.

The Reef that Rules has been kind up until now, with the calibre of surfing since the season started in February red hot to say the least.

But it was a case of Maybe NOT this month, so the club does what it is very good at – it started lighting candles to Huey to ensure the swell conditions do the right thing.

That means battle stations for all competitors in June.
All four premierships are wide open, so more the incentive for waxing and get body, soul and mind directed at fireworks for June.
